Microsoft Project Command on the S1 // Projects Tab
Click this command or use the commands in the drop-down menu to create a link to a Microsoft Project/Microsoft Project Server file.
Field | Description |

Microsoft Project | Select this option to create a link to a Microsoft Project .MPP file. When you select it, an Open dialog displays, allowing you to select the .MPP file. |
Active Microsoft Project | Select this option to create a link to a project that you currently have open in MS Project. |
Microsoft Project Server | Select this option to create a link to a project on the Microsoft Project Server. In order to import from Project Server, you must first select a Project Server version on the Platforms (Microsoft) page of the Deltek Acumen Options dialog box.
Note: Before you import your file, confirm that the
Server Type field is set to the same version that you are importing or you may have some data discrepancies. This field is located in the Deltek Acumen Options dialog box on the Platforms (Microsoft) page.

All Projects from Microsoft Project Server as a Single Project | Import all of the projects selected from Microsoft Project Server as a single project.

Create Schedule | Select this option to create a new project in the workbook.
When you select it, a Create Microsoft Project Schedule dialog box displays. Enter a project name, select Time Now and then click OK. Acumen creates a new project with start and finish milestones and adds it to the list in the Projects pane. |
